Deerkiss Hollow Jewelry will be participating in the coming Autumn Glory Festival as part of the Heritage Craft Fest show, which will have NEW HOURS this year.  Instead of being open on Saturday and Sunday as in past years, the show will be held Friday, October 11, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday, October 12, from 10 am to 6 p.m. Proprietor Adele Wilson will be supervising the booth, which will be in the Broad Ford Elementary School Gym in Oakland, MD.

Adele Wilson, residing alone near Fort Ashby, WV for the past 19 years, is a retired administrative assistant and was a professional graphic artist in her former career.  She has been making jewelry since 2005, following a visit to Asheville, NC, and has participated in Garrett County craft shows since 2008.

An avid bird lover, Ms. Wilson is especially enthralled with barn swallows after experiencing their nesting on her porch for two summers.  She also observed a swallow nest outside the exhibition building at the Garrett County Fairgrounds this past June during the McHenry Highland Festival, where she displayed her jewelry.  During the coming Autumn Glory Festival, in addition to her high quality, handcrafted, gemstone necklace and earring sets, she will be offering a barn swallow necklace with earrings to match.  Her jewelry can be previewed on her website, http://www.deerkisshollowjewelry.com.

The story, available at http://www.deerkisshollowjewelry.com\news-story-9-25-13.htm, includes a photo of the barn swallow nest at the Garrett County Fairgrounds, in addition to that of the barn swallow jewelry set that Ms. Wilson will be offering at the Heritage Craft Fest.
